Ingredients
- 6 medium ripe pears
- 1cup sugar
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 1/2tsp ground cloves
- Lemon juice from half a lemon

Instructions
- Peel each pear, slice them into quarters and cut off the centers.
- Shred the pairs on a large hole cheese grinder.
- Place the pairs in a saucepan add sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and lemon juice. Bring to boil and turn down the heat to medium low. Stir occasionally.
- Cook for 40 minutes or till the sauce is thick, not watery.
- Store in refrigerator. Also may be frozen for later use.
