Pork Chops with Bacon sauce – Minutky se slaninou

This dish is best served with Czech red cooked cabbage and potato dumplings, or any potato dish and vegetables.
Ingredients
- 6 Pork chops
- 1 Large onionchopped
- 6 slices bacon
- 2cups water
- 2tsp Garlic salt
- 1cube beef flavored bouillon.Knorr brand
- 1tbsp corn starch
- 1/3cup water

- First prepare the bacon sauce.
- Cut the bacon slices on very small pieces, and chop the onions.
- Preheat a large frying pan on high.
- Add bacon, stir and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add onion, stir and cook for additional 5 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of water, stir, turn heat to medium, and let cook till all the water is gone.
- Add garlic salt, Beef flavor bouillon, and one more cup of water. Cover with lid, and cook for 10 minutes.
- In 1/3 cups of water mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Stir the liquid into the bacon sauce, and cook for 3 minutes. Set aside.
- Grill or fry lightly salted pork chops. If grilling, drizzle some olive oil on both sides and lightly season with salt. Don’t over cook the chops.
